Position: Wholesale Trade Representative (Import Quality Control Coordinator)
Location: Calgary, AB
Description: Star Produce Ltd. is looking for a new Wholesale Trade Representative (Import Quality Control Coordinator) to start as soon as possible. The position is permanent full-time, and requires experience in sales or the produce industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare catalogues of items
- Arrange for on-site previews of goods
- Advertise sales
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Prepare or oversee preparation of sales or other contracts
- Represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
- Conduct sales transactions
- Supervise activities of other sales representatives
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Consult with clients after sale or signed contracts
- Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
- Provide clients presentations of the benefits and uses of goods or services
Skills and Qualifications:
- One year of experience in sales or in an occupation related to the produce industry
- Completion of high school
- Knowledge of produce
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with imports of South/Central America
