Position: Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing relationships with vendors
  • Establish and develop supplier strategies and relationships
  • Track and report on supply agreement milestones and deliverables
  • Manage global logistics spend to achieve cost effective delivery of goods, and build reporting to track and monitor the global spends
  • Develop and implement supply chain models for both new and future products, analyzing complex options and the competitive landscape
  • Work to enhance and develop our global B2C operations within cost targets
  • Monitor and track all global B2C deliveries and root cause and resolve issues that arise.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts and pricing with third party logistics contracts, exceeding requirements of the business targets and financial goals of the company
  • Review all logistics bills, and verify accuracy before approval
  • Assist the global supply chain team with regards to ensuring global deliveries are on time, and within budget, along with exploring new ways for meeting expectations and delivering cost savings

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of supply chain and logistics experience, preferably in a consumer electronics or high-tech industry
  • Post-secondary education focused on Business, Supply Chain Management
  • P. log designation preferred; CSCP, FITT’s CITP®|FIBP® designation also considered
  • Previous experience in negotiating
  • Previous experience in B2C operations
  • SAP and or like ERP system experience an asset
  • Proven success in managing and maintaining relationships with vendors, and ensuring lines of communication remain open and in good standing
  • Procurement and contract business management experience
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • You thrive in a lightning-fast environment with tight timelines
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed in order to speak to contacts in different time zones
  • Ability to travel globally as required
  • Possesses a combination of working knowledge of world-class supply chain practices, strong analytical capabilities, and business savvy
