Position: Ocean Freight Coordinator

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for the logistics industry? I have an exciting and exclusive opportunity for an enthusiastic Ocean Freight Coordinator to join a growing global company.
Located in Vancouver, our client is looking to hire an Ocean Freight Coordinator to their team to optimize the efficiency and integrity of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing of all Shipping Documents and other forms related to local and international shipping
- Ensure all cross border shipments have the appropriate customs documentation and clearances
- Liaise closely with outside vendors, customers and other departments
- Consult with and advise on business development projects as required
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Skills and Qualifications:
- University Degree (CIFFA and FITT certification an asset)
- Minimum 1-year experience with international shipping or logistics
- Ability to make quick decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication is a must
- Function in a time sensitive environment
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
