Position: International Marketing Specialist (International Logistics and Marketing Trainee)

Description: Amalgamet Canada LP is seeking an experienced international marketer with a CITP®|FIBP® designation from the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) to fill the position of International Marketing Specialist (International Logistics and Marketing Trainee). The successful candidate will communicate with members of the business community concerning development opportunities, conduct studies, develop marketing strategies and business plans, and ensure all necessary licensing is secured.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities
- Conduct analytical marketing studies
- Develop feasibility studies
- Develop marketing strategies
- Develop business plans
- Ensure appropriate business/commercial licenses are in place
- Perform administrative tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certified International Trade Professional (C.I.T.P.) through the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT)
- Bilingualism in English and French, with knowledge in German and Spanish desired
- Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training; Completion of university
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
- Ability to work under pressure on tight deadlines
- Strong reading, writing and communications skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- strong problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills
- Excellent research abilities
- Valid driver’s license
