Airport Cargo Agent – Warehouse Worker
Location
Calgary, AB
Description:
As an Airport Cargo Agent – Warehouse Worker, you will:
- Weigh & measure cargo upon receipt
- Checking for accuracy
- Complying with regulations (Customs/Security/Transport Canada/IATA)
- Assisting with the preparation of cargo for export and processing import cargo
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Shift work
- Holds self accountable
- Ensuring security and safety standards are adhered to
- Able to work as part of a team and unsupervised when required
- Ensuring good communication & organizing work flow between the warehouse and office personnel
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience in the transportation industry
- 1-2 years warehouse experience & ability to operate a forklift an asset
- Organized & extremely detail oriented
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent multi-tasking & prioritizing skills
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Problem solver
- Welcoming personality
- Able to pass security clearance (background check)
- Crating, carpentry, & mechanical skills a definite asset
- Valid Driver’s License an asset, but we are accessible via the 57 Bus on Calgary transit
- Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends & holidays
Compensation:
- Wage is negotiable based on experience
- Benefits Package upon completion of 3-month probationary period
