Harold Good

Harold (Hal) Good is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of CPO level experience in procurement and contracting and an IBM futurist. He is a past national president of the Airport Purchasing Group and the National Procurement Institute, and was a founding member and past president of the California Chapter of the National Institute of Government Purchasing. He has recently been a presenter at ProcureCon Indirect, ProcureConIT, and at the International Association of Contract and Commercial Management, (IACCM). He was instrumental in the acquisition and installation of one of the earliest reliable earthquake early warning systems in the U.S.

Managing Risk in the Global Supply Chain, a report by the supply chain management faculty at The University of Tennessee, ranks natural disasters as the third biggest supply chain risk, following quality problems and the need for increased inventory due to longer supply chains.
